Ravalli County Stage II burn restrictions have been lifted BUT the burn ban is still in effect

RESOLUTION NO. 4477

RESCINDS RESOLUTION NO. 4476 (Stage II Restrictions)

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Ravalli County, Montana, passed Resolution 4431 on February 22, 2022 which established a local fire season in the County, and Resolution 4476 on August 11, 2022, which implemented Stage II fire restrictions in the County; and

WHEREAS, recent cooler temperatures, precipitation, and anticipated weather patterns have reduced the level of fire danger in the area; and

WHEREAS, the Ravalli County Firewarden recommends lifting Stage II fire restrictions within Ravalli County;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the RAVALLI COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS does hereby rescind Resolution No. 4476, effective immediately, Monday, September 19, 2022 at 9:27 AM
