The department goals steer the collective efforts of IT and provide the basis for defining annual objectives, performance measures, and assessment of benefit/value realization. At a high level, the following goals are persistent and listed in order of priority:
- Deliver stable, efficient, and predictable services.
- Maximize existing capability investments.
- Partner with business leaders to target low-performing/high-value capabilities.
- Shepherd strategic alignment of shared capabilities across County services.
