Military & Overseas Voters

Statue of Soldier in front of Ravalli County CourthouseTo all military voters, thank you for your service to our country. To all U.S. citizens overseas, thank you for your interest in your country’s election process.

Military and overseas voters are welcome to use the regular registration and early/absentee voting by mail process available to all voters. However, there are also special provisions for you. If you have questions please contact our office at 406-375-6550 or your local voting officer.

Military and overseas voters can request a Federal Postcard Application in order to register to vote and obtain an absentee ballot.

During Federal Election years, absentee ballots are available through the Montana Electronic Absentee System (EAS).  Military and overseas voters can obtain their ballot through this system approximately 45 days prior to the applicable election.
