SCHOOL & SPECIAL DISTRICT ELECTIONS - May 3, 2016
The following elections are being run by the Ravalli County Election Administrator.
• Bitter Root Irrigation District Commissioner Election (sample ballot not available at this time)
• Corvallis School District #1 Levy and Trustee Election (to see sample ballot click here)
• Florence-Carlton School District #15-6 Trustee Election (to see sample ballot click here)
• Lone Rock School District #13 Trustee Election (to see sample ballot click here)
The Bitter Root Irrigation District, the Florence-Carlton School District and the Lone Rock School District Elections will be held solely by mail ballot. All eligible voters in these districts will be mailed a ballot on April 13, 2016. If you do not receive your ballot, contact the Election Office at 375-6550.
The Corvallis School District Election will be held at the polls. Polling place location is at the Corvallis School Gym (1045 Main Street in Corvallis). Polls will be open from 7 AM to 8 PM on Election Day, May 3, 2016.
Absentee ballots for the Corvallis School District Election will be available beginning April 13, 2016 and will end on May 2, 2015 at noon. You can either come in person to the Ravalli Election Office to obtain an absentee ballot or you can complete an absentee request form and return it to the Election Office.
NOTE: If you are already signed up for absentee voting you will automatically be mailed a ballot.
The Darby School District #9 Trustee Election will be run by the school district clerk. Any questions regarding the Darby School election should be directed to the school district clerk, phone number: 821-3841.
FEDERAL PRIMARY ELECTION - June 7, 2016
Absentee ballots will be mailed out May 13, 2016 to voters on the absentee list.

NOTICE TO COUNTY COMMISSIONER CANDIDATES
The Ravalli County Study Commission has recommended that the number of County Commissioners be reduced to three (3). If the reduction is approved by the voters, the term of office for all elected and sitting Commissioners will expire on December 31, 2018. If disapproved, the term of office may be determined by the drawing of lots.

Per 2015 legislative session, Campaign Finance forms no longer need to be filed with the County Office. All forms are to be filed directly with the Commissioner of Political Practices. Any questions regarding campaign finances shall be directed to the Commissioner of Political Practices Office at (406) 444-2942.
